How To Create Simple Spring Scrapbook Layouts?

Spring is a time to detox your life and take part in Spring cleaning. This could be as simple as deleting old images off of your phone and printing them off to store in a tangible album.

I love the concept of having all of my photos printed out. This clears off storage on my phone while also relieves the stress of accidently deleting a photo and losing it forever.

Make it a goal this season to get a physical copy of your pictures and place them in a special album or notebook. Plus, I guarantee you will be more likely to look at the photos this way.

1. Outdoor Picnic Scrapbook Page

Supplies:

One thing I love about Spring is getting to be outside all day. After a long, cold Winter there is nothing more pleasing than getting a dose of sunshine again.

This is one of my favorite scrapbook layout ideas for multiple photos that you will love!

It depicts a scene, almost as if you are looking out of a sunny window. All of it is made out of wood-patterned paper. By gluing four photos down into rows of two, you get a look-alike window pane. Just make sure to leave a bit of white space in between them.

These photos were taken at a nearby arboretum. While the third picture was a faceoff between the dog and squirrel. Exactly the kind of scene I am thankful to have captured on photo.

2. Flower Carts and Bouquets

It is so fun seeing the first budding signs of flowers pop up in March.

During the Springtime I enjoy walking through outdoor farmer’s markets to find local goods. The markets are always so lively with freshly baked treats and homemade arrangements.

I created this scrapbook page inspired by these colorful markets and window display shops. The miniature storefronts are the perfect paper ephemera pieces. Just like the flowers in the picture, these florals are just as bright and colorful.

3. Spring Garden Page Layout

Supplies:

This is the time of the year when you can officially take out your gardening gloves and seeds.

The first year that I grew my very own garden I wanted to capture all of it. Both the before and after and the help I received along the way. (Peep my adorable bunny rabbit and dog!) Starting your own garden in the Spring can be therapeutic. Plus, it pays off in the long run when you have fresh fruits and veggies.

This Spring scrapbook layout is inspired by all things gardening. Hence, the bumble bee patterned paper and plant stickers.

Furthermore, I hand-cut a white picket fence by cutting miniature wood pieces and laying them on top of two thin rails. I added three photographs bordering them with twine and stickers.

4. Easter Scrapbook Layouts

Supplies:

Easter celebrations are something to look forward to every year.

Whether you spend the day doing Easter egg hunts, with family at church, or hosting dinner there is so much love surrounding this day. Once Easter comes around it is the official sign that Spring is here.

For this Springtime page layout I used as many pastel patterned papers and designs I could find without going overboard. Of course, I also had to include the cutest little bunny rabbit ephemera pieces.

If you only have one photograph to scrapbook and are left with plenty of blank space around the page I recommend using that area for journaling. It is always a good idea to write about the backstory which include all the small details of your picture. This is the area you can write the date, people, activities, and funny moments that happened.

5. Adventure Awaits

Now that the weather is getting nicer it is the perfect time to mark off activities on your bucket list!

Visiting the local safari park was an excellent Spring day activity. Even though it poured down rain we had so much fun seeing all the animals.

This is a great idea on how to organize multiple pictures onto one scrapbooking page. To start, I took a few of the images and cut them down into miniature squares. Making sure they were able to fit into rows of two. I alternated various patterns of paper to bring in more color as well.

Next, I took my two main photographs and kept them the regular 4×6 inch size. I love how organized and symmetrical the left side appears. All while displaying all my favorite photos from this adventure.

6. Rainy Days

There is always one guaranteed thing about Spring; Which is that rain will most likely be in the forecast. It may pour down multiple days in a row or bring surprise showers. Either way you must always carry an umbrella.

This layout was definitely inspired by an umbrella gallery that my friend and I stumbled across while shopping. Not only are umbrellas purposeful, but they also act as a great photo backdrop.

To create this layout I used an umbrella cut file.

In case you are unaware, cut files are shapes cut out with a cutting machine – such as a Cricut or Silhouette Cameo. You can find practically any design you desire online. Once the shape is cut out you can then back the shape with beautiful scrapbook paper. This is a unique way to create customized embellishments.

As soon as I had all of the umbrella cut files completed, I organized them in the background of my page layout. In an attempt to make it appear like the real-life art display I lined the cut files side by side. Finally, I added some final touches with stickers and a brief description.

7. Spring Journaling

Supplies:

This Spring scrapbook layout captures the humble beginnings of my seasonal garden.

This layout is preserved within my daily journal. Unlike traditional scrapbooks, journals are more portable. Meaning you can take them with you anywhere, including outdoor markets and gardens.

Journals and notebooks also allow more flexibility by not having to work around page protectors. Having an open page allowed me to create this fun pocket to hold my photos.

To make this yourself, simply cut a large rectangle out of paper. Only place adhesive along the edges of the bottom and two sides. Leave the top open to allow for pictures, flyers, post cards and more!

8. Butterflies and Blooms

Visiting gardens around Springtime is a perfect activity to get out into nature.

I tend to take dozens of photos during my nature walks, that I end up with so many pictures to scrapbook. This page layout for Spring is great if you have multiple photos.

I created an organized spread by placing three photos on the top and bottom rows. Then, in the middle I placed a 6×4 inch photo, along with journaling space. If you recreate this yourself, you can add fun embellishments throughout the layout.

9. Timelapse Of Spring

Supplies:

By early March I am constantly looking out the window for early signs of Spring.

I don’t know about you… but it makes me so excited to see the temperatures slowly rise and first insect sighting.

This is one of the most simple Spring scrapbook layouts using a handful of photos a stickers. Four polaroid pictures aligned in rows of two, decorated with the cutest spring stickers.
