Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms

The Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms designs are bright and perfect for Spring and Summer. With decadent pastries and bursting flower petals, the nature elements will make you feel cheerful. I also cannot help but obsess over design patterns that involve flower bouquets and gingham.

Check out the five layouts I created below with the supplies from this collection. I find that working with scrapbook collections I actually enjoy makes it so much easier to create and come up with ideas; As opposed to using miss matched papers and pieces. Below, you will find all of the supplies listed as well as the different techniques I was able to use them for.

Colorful Layouts From Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms

Dry Tortugas Scrapbook Layout

Supply List:

Just looking at this layout brings me back to my happy place. During Spring Break I visited the Dry Tortugas National Park off the coast of Florida. Here I saw the most turquoise water I have ever seen. My goal was to create a travel scrapbook layout to show off my adventures and this collection did just the job.

On this page I used the “Garden” double sided patterned paper that has these adorable stamp designs. From Butterflies to strawberries to peaches and snails, there’s something to enjoy. Not only are the stamps beautiful but I loved how they showed off the Springtime goodies. Since this was a Spring Break trip I avoided using any graphics specifically depicting Summer. Instead, the florals and the butterflies do an excellent job at sharing the season perfectly. In addition to the stamp paper I also added the pattern “Blossom” to show off the outside edges.

If you wish to recreate this layout yourself, easily fussy cut the stamp shapes out and place them randomly within the background. It is possible to create so many fun shapes out of these stamp pieces. I also took a few markers and added some doodles to fill in the white spaces. To add more fun to this page I then added a few pieces from the ephemera pack, such as the banners and frame.

Just A Girl And Her Dog

Supply List:

Again, I LOVE gingham patterns and will not miss an opportunity to use it on a scrapbooking layout. For this page I used the “Daydream” double sided paper along with the “Together” pattern. The together design makes me feel as if I’m in a fairy garden. Such a playful design that takes me right back to my childhood.

I cut out approximately two and a half inch squares out of the “Together” pattern and then adhered them to the paper “Daydream” creating this checkered background. Cutting the squares out to be exact was much harder than I anticipated with the placement of the designs. However, this sets a good reminder that nothing has to be perfect. I love combining different patterns together to create a more subtle look. Not only does this make any background look less busy, but it also enables you to use two different scrapbook papers at once – It is a win, win!

The picture I used here is of my childhood dog and I. He was the goodest boy ever!! I added a blue border to the photograph that helps it blend in with the blue from the flowers in the back. To complete the look I added a big title in bright blue letters. I love finding unique title placements as opposed to straight lines, so I ended up curving the title around the picture. This way it draws your eyes right onto the center photograph. Also, I plan on adding a small journaling section off to the side or on the back to tell the story behind the photo.

This is a super simple page idea you can recreate using any of the papers from the Happy Blooms scrapbook collection. In total it took me around 30-45 minutes from start to finish.

Happy As Can Bee

Supply List:

Nothing says happy blooms like the bees with their honeycomb. This collection has so much vibrant yellow throughout that it is guaranteed to boost your spirits. I thought the little bees were too cute not to create an entire page around that I ended up doing one around a honeycomb/ beehive.

To begin, I utilized the “Heirloom” patterned paper and cut out various sizes of hexagons. This time I used my Cricut to cut the shapes out to achieve the perfect cut. I ended up cutting out small, medium, and large sizes for more variety. Once they were all cut out, I grouped the hexagons together in the background to depict honeycomb. It was almost like putting a puzzle together to try and find the best spot for each piece.

These two photos take me back to a carefree time in my life and I wanted this layout to be wild and bright. When was the last time you went cloud watching? I spotted this perfect heart-shaped cloud and snapped a photo. Also, sunsets make for great photoshoot opportunities and I thought the yellow hues go so well with the background colors.

To add some finishing touches I took the gold glitter glue and added lots of specs to bring in more dimension and brighten up the patterns. There is no such thing as too much yellow, so I picked out all the yellow colored pieces from the ephemera pack and placed them throughout the page. My favorite being the you are my sunshine banner. The Happy Blooms ephemera pack has so many delicate floral pieces to brighten up any design.

Homemade With Love Brunch Party

Supply List:

For this fourth layout I did the same technique as before and used two different patterns for the background. Except this time they both came from the same paper. The paper is called “Happy Place” and on one side is a gorgeous floral pattern with all sorts of colors. On the opposite side are festive sayings related to sunshine filled days. The sayings were perfectly horizontal and gave me the great idea of cutting each line into a strip across. However, I also loved the backside flowers and wanted a way to incorporate both patterns. I ended up stacking one after the other, up and down the entire page. This worked out great because the colors coordinated so well.

The story here is all about brunchtime and delicious food. One of my favorite pastimes when the weather starts getting nice is dining outside. We went to the famous Banana Café in Key West, Florida and they had delicious fruity drinks and crepes. While the Happy Blooms scrapbook collection didn’t have bananas in particular, it does have lemons, pears, and other colorful foods.

To complete this page I bordered my three photographs with bright yellow cardstock. Next, I added in the lemon, pear, and lime from the ephemera pack which go great with the breakfast photos! I then added the mini purple tag up on the top left where I can add the date or any small title. Later I will add additional journaling to help tell the full story. After all, scrapbooking is all about sharing your memories.

Grandparents Scrapbook Layout

Supply List:

There are so many beautiful, bright colors a part of the designs that it make mixing and matching the different papers together so much fun. On this layout, four different patterns were used. Even though the colors are vastly different they complement each other so well. This was another extremely easy to do layout that took less than 30 minutes to complete. To achieve this look cut each paper down in half from corner to corner to make a triangle. On the bottom half I layered three different papers together. I just love the emerald green color from the paper “Handkerchief.”

This layout shares a photo of my grandparents who have been together over 60 years! This was taken at one of our family get-togethers. Such a special memory that I am so thankful to have in my scrapbook. This is your reminder that you could use the prettiest scrapbooking supplies, but if your photo/ story is meaningless then the entire layout is insignificant.

I had so much fun creating these pages and I hope you found some inspiration for your next crafting session. There are countless ways you can use the Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms for your own memory keeping. This collection is perfect for sunny travels, picnics, gardening, family get-togethers, and so much more! Be sure to check out my other blog posts to see more scrapbooking ideas and inspiration.
