4 Beachy Premade Scrapbook Pages From Simple Stories
Premade scrapbook pages have come a long way in the past couple of years. They conveniently offer the ability to create remarkable scrapbooking layouts without requiring much thought on the design or placement. Perfect for crafters who don’t have time to contemplate all the tiny aspects that go into creating the perfect layout, but still want their stories told.
Recently, I tried the Beachy themed premade scrapbook pages by Simple Stories and am sharing the final layouts. These premade kits come in a variety of themes that will work for many different holidays and occasions. Like the name implies, these layouts were so simple to put together and required no cutting. All you need to do is follow the written instructions provided and use the mini embellishment pieces to put it all together.
From this kit I created a total of four different page layouts which took less than 2 hours to complete. I love the final products that were effortlessly created. Below you can see for yourself how each page turned out.

Kit Contents
The kit comes with everything you need to create four gorgeous layouts. The kits were designed to create two sets of side by side, or double page scrapbook layouts. This way, when you place them into a photo album one will go on the left side and the other on the right, to give it a continuous appearance.
The Beachy kit collection includes the following tools:
- 4 sheets of 12×12 inch scrapbook paper
- 19 Chipboard pieces
- 54 die cut pieces
- Step by step instructions
As stated earlier, this kit includes everything you need except adhesive and photos. My favorite adhesive to use on scrapbooking elements is this double sided tape. Not only is it acid free but it has a very strong hold and easy to tear. I use this tape on all of my craft projects.
My favorite part of the collection may just be the adorable ephemera pieces and chipboard. I adore the nautical vibes and all the seashells. This kit even comes with extra pieces that are not included in the instructions to use, so you can add them wherever or save for a different project.
#1 Tropical Scrapbook Page One
Luckily, these are scrapbook page kits with instructions so it makes it that much easier to follow along. For this first one, I followed the instructions precisely to create this gorgeous teal, vintage inspired layout. This is my first time ever using a premade kit so I was not sure how much I would enjoy it. Luckily, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Not only that, but there were only a few steps to follow that took no time at all.
From the paper strips to the embellishments, all pieces were already cut so it saved time having to trim the shapes out manually. Only thing to do is punch out the pieces by hand. This page required a single 4×6 inch photo along with two 3×3-inch photos. I dedicated this page to sharing my visit to the Ernest Hemmingway House in Key West. The newspaper clippings included in the kit resemble vintage writing which I thought was fitting since this was a famous authors house. Per the instructions I also included the seaweed and rowboat. All together, the blues and the greens come together nicely.
#2 Tropical Scrapbook Page Two
This is the second layout that goes along with the first. Created to document my trip to the Dry Tortugas National Park. Another thing that I appreciate about this collection is how many opportunities it provides to include photos. Oftentimes when I scrapbook I only think about adding one picture at a time (maybe two if I’m feeling adventurous). It can be hard to think of ways to add multiple photographs and still have space to decorate around them all. With these premade scrapbook pages it takes the guesswork out of trying to find the right space. Here, you can see how I easily fit four photos with space to even add some journaling.
This page required six 3-inch squares for either journaling or a photo. In one of the squares provided I added the wooden beach sign along with the pelican and seashells. On the second square there is space dedicated to writing a caption and is decorated with seaweed and a sailboat. I love how well the collection correlates with my trip to the national park. The boats in the background match some of the boats found in my the pictures. It gives such a tropical vibe overall that resembles how I was feeling while I was there.
#3 Pink Flamingo Page One
This is the third layout I created as part of the beachy simple stories collection. I call this the pink flamingo because of the flamingo and peachy tones. For this scrapbooking layout I added the three pre-cut banners in the background (my favorite being the one with the seashells). I added this photo of my mom and I at the pier. Per the instructions, I layered on the palm trees and leaves. The chipboard pieces are already well shaded with different colors for dimension, but I decided to use some foam adhesive to prop the embellishments up even more. This gives it a more 3D effect.

#4 Pink Flamingo Page Two
This is the fourth and final layout in the premade scrapbook pages collection. These two photos were taken around Key West at some of our favorite spots. The design elements in this kit include many pink tropical flowers which I added here. I found so many of the same flowers throughout the city and thought they were beautiful.
If you are like me, you may at times have decision paralysis when trying to pick scrapbook paper and decoration pieces to use for your layouts. There are times I am in a creative mood but cannot figure out a good way to use my crafting supplies so I end up not completing anything at all. The great thing about these premade scrapbook pages is that it allows you to still put together a page and do the traditional scrapbooking, but it takes away any difficult decision making.
By the time I finished I had completed four gorgeous tropical scrapbook layouts. There was even left over embellishments that I had not used, which can be used in different projects. I am highly satisfied with how these turned out and would recommend the simple stories – simple pages collection to anyone. I will definitely be trying these out again with all the different themes.
