How Do You Make Handmade Fall Cards?
1. Embossing Fall Leaves
Supplies:
Embossing folders create texture on paper of different patterns and designs.
On this Fall leaf card, I used a swirly embossing pattern for the background. I thought the swirls depicted those windy Fall days where the leaves are blowing around the sky.
To create this embossing effect, you will need an embossing machine. I use the Sizzix machine that performs die cuts as well as embossing. Pick out your embossing pattern and place the paper inside the folder. Run it through the machine once, and you will have fun textured paper!
To create this card, I layered the embossed paper down on cardstock that measures 4.75×5.5 inches. Next, I added Fall leaves along with a bow of twine for a rustic look.
This is a detailed Fall card to celebrate the colors of the season.
