I also encourage you to check if there are any local, small craft stores near you. Shopping small businesses is the best option. Plus, you may just meet someone who shares the same love of scrapbooking as you!
Where to buy scrapbook supplies from reliable brands
1. Scrapbook.com
Scrapbook.com is one of the most well-loved online craft stores for this hobby. For years it has been my go-to place to buy all things scrapbooking. There are many reasons why I recommend Scrapbook.com, starting with their large array of products. Scrapbook.com has all the popular brands for paper crafting and even has their own products. Some brands you can find here are Sizzix, Pinkfresh Studio, American Crafts, Simple Stories, and many more. Additionally, each week they offer a freebie with any purchase. In the past the freebies have included paper packs, stamps, and adhesives. Be sure to check out the weekly deals and clearance scrapbook supplies for special offers.
Another great thing about Scrapbook.com is the community. Under the gallery section on the website you can find other people’s layouts and project ideas. This is an excellent place to go for inspiration. You may also “like” and comment on the galleries allowing you to interact with people who share the same passion as you. Furthermore, the team at scrapbook.com will often host live workshops/ tutorials on their Youtube channel to watch and interact with everyone.
2. Elizabeth Craft Designs
Elizabeth Craft Designs is a unique paper craft brand that specializes in dies, stamps, and planner accessories. They have some of the most fascinating die cut patterns on the market. I specifically love their flower die cut sets for making cards. If you are a fan of vintage inspired designs then these products will be right up your alley.
If you are an avid planner (or memory planner) their accessories are great for decorating pages. Elizabeth Craft Designs has different stamps you can use for dating planners and note taking. They also have a wide variety of seasonal products all year round that make planning ahead easy. Be sure to check out the art journals and traveler’s notebooks as well.
3. A Cherry On Top
A cherry on Top is another great online craft for where you can find scrapbooking supplies. Many of the major paper crafting brands can be found here. Including Lawn Fawn, Carta Bella, Echo Park, Simple stories and more. They also allow preorders for new products and well as different promotions. If there is a certain product you plan on purchasing be sure to check between all the websites mentioned to see who offers the best deal. Depending on the different sales and promotions going on you may be able to find the product for less.
In addition to paper crafting supplies, A cherry On Top also offers different crafts and hobbies. This makes it an excellent one-stop-shop so you can save on shipping costs. They have a big selection of different paint supplies as well as needle crafts. If you are an avid scrapbooker you may find ways to incorporate paint and sewing onto your layouts. Seeing all the different supplies listed may bring many new ideas for scrapbook projects.
4. Altenew
Altenew is another amazing paper crafting brand that I recommend you to check out. They offer one of a kind products for card making and scrapbooks. On their website you can find beautiful patterned paper, stamps, inks, stencils and paint products. They also offer monthly subscriptions as well if you prefer to be surprised every month with new products. There are different subscription kits that vary in cost and personal interests. For example, the craft a flower kit includes a monthly die cut set. While the paint a flower kit includes a stamp set to decorate.
Found on the website are various classes you can take to learn new paper crafting techniques. This is great if you are a beginner wanting to learn the basics. They offer both free and paid classes depending on the topic. In addition to the classes, Altenew also offers free resources. The free resources can range from free e-books, guides, and coloring pages. If you do purchase new products you can then use these resources to find project inspiration and ideas.
5. Lawn Fawn
Lawn Fawn is one of my all time favorite stamp and die-set brands. If you enjoy cute animated designs then you will love their products. Many of the designs include miniature animals with facial expressions. There is something about personified animals that so much life to a page layout or card. The stamp and die cut sets go together to make cutting out the stamp designs easy. Once you have stamped and colored the design you can use the die to cut out the image. This makes card making super easy and quick. Instead of having to cut each of the designs out by hand. Also, you can reuse the stamps and dies as many times as you please.
One of the best products Lawn Fawn offers in my opinion are the treat bags. Each treat bag is made with a die set. You can decorate them any way you would like to with stamps or paper patterns. There are many different shapes including a candy shaped box, house, butterfly treat box, and a cake slice box. These boxes make the perfect goodie bags for school parties and celebrations.

6. We R Memory Keepers
In terms of scrapbooking tools, We R Memory Keepers is a very reputable brand. They are well known for their innovative products that take handmade to another level. Some products they are most known for are their paper trimmers, the cinch machine, button press, fuse tool, and so much more. I could do an entire blog post about all the fun tools We R Memory Keepers has as there are too many to list here.
If you own a small business or are just an avid paper crafter it is worth trying out some of these tools. These products are guaranteed to elevate your projects. A few tried and true products I adore are the paper trim and score board, as well as the shotbox. The shotbox I use to take photos of my layouts for my blog as it provides the perfect lighting. You can find We R Memory Keeper’s products online or in stores such as Joann Fabrics.
7. Amazon Scrapbook Supplies
You likely have shopped on Amazon.com before, but did you know you can find paper and stamping products there? Many of the major scrapbooking brands may only be found on their respective websites. However, Amazon does offer small brands that you may have never heard of. If you search “card making stamps” or “scrapbook paper” then you will discover new brands you have never heard of before.
I personally love buying Amazon scrapbook supplies due to the great deals. The best part is that many are $10 or less. Which means you can add a bunch more items into your cart. Although, cheaper does not always mean better. Since most of these items are likely made overseas, the quality may not be as good as it is coming from the brands mentioned above. The die cut sets I have purchased from amazon work great, although they are noticeably more delicate. The metal can easily be bent if not taken care of properly. That being said, Amazon does offer amazing deals and you can find unique products not offered anywhere else. Furthermore, you can get free shipping with Amazon Prime.
8. Brick & Mortar Stores
If you are wondering where to buy scrapbook supplies in person, here are a few options. My two favorite brick & mortar stores are Joann Fabrics and Hobby Lobby scrapbooking supplies. Hobby Lobby has their own paper crafts brand called “The Paper Studio” where you can find anything from paper packs and scrapbooking stickers. You can also find a large collection of photo albums, planners, and recipe books. Joann Fabrics also has a wide selection of paper products. They house popular brands such as American crafts and Tim Holtz. These two stores are found all over the country and it is likely you have at least one near you.
Research “scrapbooking supplies near me” to find local craft stores in your city. It is important to shop small and support small businesses when you can. Plus, the owners are likely passionate about the hobby and are more knowledgeable with the products. They can be a great help when you are not sure what to purchase. Unfortunately, numerous scrapbooking stores have gone out of business in the past 20 years. While shopping online is convenient, there is nothing like the thrill of seeing the products in person. For these reasons be sure to prioritize locally owned businesses.
9. Facebook Groups And Garage Sales
One place you may not have thought of to buy clearance scrapbook supplies is garage sales. People who have been in the hobby for decades are constantly looking to downsize their stash. Getting rid of the old helps to make room for the new supplies too. You never know what you may find at garage sales for cheap.
Furthermore, if you join any scrapbook selling Facebook groups you may also come across some hidden gems. People are always selling gently used paper packs, die cuts, and stickers. It is always fun to look through these groups because the products listed are often a couple of years old. Which means they are off the market and you will not be able to find them anywhere else. Just be mindful of the shipping costs. Otherwise, you may be able to discover some local sellers.
