Must Have Supplies For A Scrapbook For Bride From Bridesmaids
Here’s everything I recommend to create a sentimental scrapbook for bride from Bridesmaids.
I was lucky enough to be a Maid of Honor in my sister’s wedding, and gifted her a personalized scrapbook on her wedding day. An engagement scrapbook that documents all of her wedding planning adventures from dress shopping to cake tasting.
A lot of planning went into creating a one-of-a-kind engagement scrapbook. Including which supplies would work best for preservation and aesthetic.
What Do You Need For A Scrapbook For Bride From Bridesmaids?
Before you start on any pages, think about the bride’s aesthetic and wedding colors. Try to incorporate these elements throughout the entire book.
You can even get together with the other members in the bridal party to create a scrapbook for bride from bridesmaids. This way, everyone can share their favorite memories with the bride. Each of you can bring in your own sense of style onto the pages.

Here’s the supplies I used to create my album:
- 8.5×11″ leather photo album
- Wedding Bells paper collection
- A Perfect Match paper collection
- Goil foil wedding stickers
- Engagement scrapbook ephemera icons
- 12×12″ Blush pink wedding sticker sheet
- 12×12″ beach girls summer sticker sheet
Start With A Quality Scrapbook Album
There are tons of album options out there, so try not to get caught up in choosing the perfect album. The main things you want to consider are size, closures, and color.
Choose between 12×12″, 8.5×11″, or 8×8″ albums with removable pages. Look for something timeless and classic if that’s the bride-to-be’s aesthetic. White, blush pink, black, and gold are timeless color choices.
I ended up going with an 8.5×11″ scrapbook for bride since I didn’t want it too large. The perfect size in my opinion for a coffee table book.
Engagement Scrapbook Paper

When picking out paper for your scrapbook for bride from bridesmaids, make sure it sets the correct tone. Soft florals, whimsical patterns, and elegant neutrals are all great options to start with.
Since my sister’s wedding colors are dusty blue and white, I found a scrapbook collection with those exact color scheme. I also incorporated a mix of blush pinks, and gold accents to match the romantic vibe.
Coordinating the paper with your wedding color palette also helps tie the photos together for a cohesive look.
Engagement Scrapbook Stickers

Thankfully there are a ton of engagement and wedding scrapbook stickers you can choose from.
I easily picked the corresponding stickers that match to the paper collection I picked out. These include stickers of flowers, cake, dresses, balloons, and other wedding designs.
Stickers help to make each individual layout visually appealing. Make sure to choose stickers that reflect the bride’s style and personality.
One tip is to layer stickers in front or behind the photos to add some dimension. I also really love the look of gold foiled stickers that add some shimmer. You can place these virtually anywhere on the page. They’re perfect for highlighting important moments like the first kiss, vows, or cutting the cake.
Dimensional stickers, like puffy or 3D embellishments, are another great way to add texture and a pop of interest to your layout.
Print Your Photos Ahead Of Time

Before you start on any scrapbook pages, have all the photos you want included in the album printed out first. This will give you good inventory of how many pictures you have, and how many pages you will need.
A scrapbook for bride from bridesmaids can be personalized in many different ways. I’ve seen some that include photos and stories of the bride growing up. Sort of like a homage to their different stages of life.
For this scrapbook that I am giving my sister, I opted to only include moments that are part of her engagement period. I wanted an album that specifically documents all parts of the wedding planning process.
I printed my photos out at home with my Canon Selphy compact photo printer.
Reach out to the other bridesmaids or friends and family to ask if they have any good photos to add into the scrapbook. Making it a collaborative effort will ensure all of the best experiences be included, and showcase all sides of the bride’s life.
Letters To Bride Scrapbook Idea
To make the scrapbook even more special, I asked the other bridesmaids and family to write handwritten letters for the bride to read on her wedding day.
We included quotes, song lyrics, and inside jokes that resonate with our shared history.
This definitely added an emotional element to an already sentimental gift. Plus, it’s a way to explicitly share our favorite stories and well wishes before this new chapter begins.
I recommend adding at least a handful of meaningful quotes or letter for the bride to read as she flips through the album.
