1. Ice Hockey Page

Supplies:

Ice hockey is a big deal in our friend group. And each Winter we can look forward to the annual pond hockey tournament!

As soon as the temperature drops down low enough, and the pond freezes over, the ice skates come out. Such fun memories of ice skating, sitting by the fire, and freezing our butts of are now creatively documented in my scrapbook.

I added playful touches like “Bundle up!” and “Brrrrrrr!” to bring out the frosty fun of the day. I also love the little houses, snowmen, and hot cocoa embellishments that make it feel so warm and inviting.

With pastel blues and pinks, the page totally feels like stepping into a winter wonderland.

2. Dog Winter Scrapbook Ideas

One of my favorite things about scrapbooking is getting to relive precious memories.

Such as the day spent playing in the snow with my childhood dog. Unfortunately, Baron is no longer around, but I have these photos to always look at on.

To make the page feel playful and cozy I used a mix of patterns and cute Winter stickers. And the little touches—like the hot cocoa mug, sweater, and snowflakes—give it that warm winter vibe.

Furthermore, the background with the dachshunds in sweaters and tiny trees makes everything feel extra whimsical.

These photos of my pup loving the snow are so special to me. This is one of the best Winter scrapbook ideas to perfectly captures that cozy, happy feeling of spending a winter day together.

3. New Years Eve Scrapbook Page

Do you prefer to stay in or go all out for New Years Eve?

No matter how you celebrate New Year’s Eve, there are tons of fun ways to capture the excitement.

I went for a bright, cheerful vibe with the “Life is Wonderful” banner and a mix of festive photos—from hanging out by the Christmas lights to goofy party hats. Even my dog got in on the New Year’s spirit with a little hat! The snowflakes and sparkly snowman add a wintery touch that ties everything together.

This page just feels like the perfect way to wrap up one year and celebrate the start of a new one, surrounded by all the people (and pets) that make life so wonderful!

4. Winter Snow Layout

Here’s another “beary” cute page layout that captures the joy of playing in the snow.

On this particular day I brought my dog and bunny out to play in the first snowfall of the season. They both love to sniff around and jump over the crunchy snow cover.

If you have moments like this with your own pets or loved ones, try creating a winter scrapbook to keep those memories close.

An easy way to incorporate Winter themes onto your pages is by using a cool color palette. Try incorporating the blues, whites, and silvers that mimic that natural Winter landscape.

Furthermore, you can include photos from winter activities and add corresponding embellishments like snowflake cutouts.

2. What are some DIY embellishments for winter themed scrapbooks?

My favorite Winter scrapbook ideas include handmade embellishments of paper snowflakes, felt mittens, and winter trees made from cardstock.

You can virtually make any design out of paper if you’re creative enough. Other ideas include snowmen, hot chocolate mugs, pinecones, icicles, tags and sweaters out of patterned paper. (Source “DIY Scrapbook Embellishments“)

3. How should I start my scrapbook?

You can start your scrapbook chronologically. Starting with the earliest photographs you have. This is the easiest way to tell a cohesive story of your life from start to finish.

You can also start a scrapbook with your favorite memories, or your “reason why”. Explain why you’re making an album and who it is for.

To be honest, it doesn’t matter too much how you start your scrapbook. The important thing is that you start!
